Business News Desk,The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a spree to modernize the Indian Railways and is revamping stations across India with modern facilities and new designs. Under this, Jaipur railway station will be modernized at a cost of Rs 717 crore. The first proposed design of Jaipur station has been shared by the Ministry of Railways on its official Twitter account. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Railways is carrying out the exercise keeping in mind both heritage and development.

Under the modernization plan, Jaipur railway station will be upgraded with high-end facilities at a cost of Rs 717 crore. He said that tenders have been issued for the work. Vaishnav said that railways have a huge contribution in the making of India. He said, ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done the work of taking India’s talent to the whole world with the scheme of ‘One Station-One Product’. He said that instead of foreign technology, Prime Minister Modi expressed confidence in Indian engineering and Vande Bharat The trains were manufactured in the country. He said that Jaipur would soon be connected by Vande Bharat train. The minister said that Vande Bharat trains look better when compared to Europe.
