Business News Desk!! Shree Cement and Dalmia Cement (India) were among the prominent bidders who won bids under the forward e-auction of coal mines conducted by the government on Monday. A total of 10 coal mines were put up for advance auction, of which Shree Cement bagged the Datima mine in Chhattisgarh, while Dalmia Cement (India) bagged the Mandla North mine in Madhya Pradesh. CG Natural Resources Pvt Ltd, Rama Cement Industries Pvt Ltd and Orissa Metallurgical Industries Pvt Ltd were some of the other successful bidders. Monday was the first day of forward e-auction of mines whose auction for commercial purposes was launched by the Ministry of Coal on November 3, 2022. Out of 10 mines put up for auction, six coal mines were fully explored while four of them were partially explored. The total geological reserves for these 10 coal mines are 1,866 million tonnes.
