Business News Desk, Finance Minister Jagdish Deora presented a budget of more than three lakh 14 thousand crore rupees for the financial year 2023-24 in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly. During this, the Congress MLAs created a ruckus. This is the last budget of the 15th Legislative Assembly of the state. Assembly elections are to be held in the state this year and the government has tried to win the hearts of all sections through this budget. No new tax has been imposed in the state.
60 thousand crores for Ladli Bahna Yojana
During the budget, the Congress MLA wanted to go to the House with a cylinder to protest against the price rise, but the security personnel stopped him. During this there was a lot of uproar and later the Congress MLAs boycotted the House and shouted slogans. A provision of 60 thousand crores has been made for the Ladli Bahna scheme being started in the state, a provision has also been made to give one lakh government appointments.
738 crore budget of sports department
Similarly, a provision of one thousand crore has been made for the skill development of the Chief Minister. The sports department has a budget of 738 crores, which is two and a half times more than last year. The state government is bringing the Mukhyamantri E Scooty Yojana for the girls. Girls who make it to the merit list will get this scooty. Out of about 5 thousand students of the state, the girl students who get the highest marks in the 12th standard will get a scooty.Ladli Laxmi Yojana, started in the year 2007, has so far benefitted more than 44 lakh 39 thousand girls. A provision of 929 crores is proposed for the financial year 2023-24. The government is bringing a new scheme, Ladli Behna Yojana, for which a provision of Rs 8,000 crore has been made.
